On April 18, 1981, twenty-two year old Barbara visited Long Island Gynecological Group for a legal abortion in New York. Several weeks after the abortion, she began to experience pain and bleeding. By May 10, the pain was unbearable, so she visited the emergency room at Kingston Hospital where she received antibiotics.
However, the pain continued, eventually causing Barbara to begin vomiting. Barbara's concerned college roommates called the hospital only to be told they needed to give the antibiotics more time.
The next day Barbara still suffered intense agony, so her friends contacted Dr. Jackaway at Kingston Hospital who refused to see her because she was not originally his patient. Barbara was then taken to SUNY health center where a physician stated that she had blood in her abdomen, which required immediate surgery.
Finally, Barbara was transported to Kingston Hospital where she would die of irreversible shock. It was later determined that Barbara had an ectopic pregnancy that the abortion clinic had failed to notice.

Seventeen year old 'Roxanne' was traveling from Michigan to New York to obtain a first trimester abortion. New York had just legalized abortion in 1970. Now, on May 13, 1972, 'Roxanne' entered the doctor's office in New York.
The doctor administered sedatives and local anesthesia, but 'Roxanne' began to convulse and went into cardiac arrest. She was taken to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The abortionist had exceeded the recommended dose of anesthesia.
These women and their unborn children were victims of the abortion industry.
