Would you like to be the owner of a one of a kind Yooper t-shirt quilt? Our quilt raffle has kicked off. First prize is a Yooper t-shirt quilt hand crafted by Lynn DeRouche, Second prize is $100.00 and third and fourth are $50.00 each. Tickets are $3.00 a piece or two for $5.00. They can be purchased at the Nifty Thrifty or from any of our board members. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hello Nifties! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. We will be open tomorrow, Saturday, April 18. Lots of spring and summer clothing items on the racks. Check out the pictures to see what we have on the shelves.

Hello Nifties. Sorry, but we cannot accept any donations until after Memorial Day. Due to the generosity of our community and switching to spring and simmer merchandise on the racks, we are out of room at the current time. Bev and I are working hard to get it all on the shelves. Thank you for your patience.

Good afternoon! Because we have gotten a lot of donations we have decided to be closed this Wednesday 04/01/2026 and Saturday 04/04/2026.It will give Cindy and Bev and opportunity to get things sorted and on the floor.We will reopen on Wednesday 04/08/2026.As always any food emergency can call (906)446-3669.Happy Easter to one and all !!!

Hello Nifties! I will be accepting donations tomorrow, Tuesday, from 11-2. As always, our wish list includes gently used and clean kid's clothing and shoes. If you're cleaning out your craft room, we have room for crafting items. Donations limited to (2) 13-gallon white trash bags. Thank you for your support. 🙂

Nifty will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10, from 11-2, to accept donations. The store will not be open. Always looking for clean, gently used men’s, women’s, and kid’s clothing and shoes, household items in good usable condition, jewelry, collectibles, wall decor, craft items, and books. Please limit donations to (2) 13-gallon size trash bags due to lack of storage space. Thank you for your support and patience. ❤️🙂

Thrift stores pay high disposal fees to dispose of items that are not usable. Here is a list of items we cannot accept. We cannot use items with strong odors such as cigarette smoke, mildew, or something unidentifiable. Usually clothing, books, or items that smell cannot be salvaged.
TIP: If you would give it to a friend, it's probably perfect for donation.

Hello Nifties. I will be at the Nifty Thrifty tomorrow, February 10, from 11-2, to accept donations. The store will not be open. Please see our lists of cannot accept items, as well as what we would love to receive. We are asking that you limit your donations to two (2) kitchen-sized (13-gallon) white garbage bags due to our limited storage space. Thank you for your support and patience.
