Please take a moment to read & share this with your family and friends. ❤️
This important message comes from the heart and is essential for spreading awareness and education. Together, we can make a difference.
I have a dear friend — a breast cancer survivor — who still wears the perfume, still uses the Bath & Body lotion, still has the plug-ins. When I share my concern she says: 'It's just a little bit.' And I love her too much to stop trying.
I've sent her research articles about synthetic fragrance and breast cancer.
I've had gentle conversations.
I've shared what I know — because I know it with everything in me.
And she listens. And then she keeps using them.
Because change is hard. Because these products are familiar. Because "just a little bit" feels reasonable when you don't understand accumulation.
But here's what I want her — and every woman reading this — to understand:
It is never just a little bit.
It is the perfume AND the lotion AND the scented laundry AND the plug-in AND the candle AND the cleaning products AND the Febreeze, AND the food additives AND the stress hormones AND the water quality.
All of it. Every day. Accumulating.
In a body that may still be recovering from treatment.
In a body whose detox pathways are already working overtime.
In a body that deserves so much better than we've been taught to give it.
And then — in the same conversation — my friend said something that stopped me completely:
I know I'm not cancer free. "It's just a matter of WHEN it comes back."
I looked at her and said: "You don't know that."
And I thought about how many women are walking around with THAT in their mind — planted there by fear, by a medical culture that prepares for the worst, by a system that doesn't offer enough hope alongside the hard truths.
Toxic chemicals in the bathroom.
Toxic thoughts in the mind.
Both are real. Both matter. Both can be addressed.
You don't have to accept either as your normal. 🩷
Have you ever been told — directly or indirectly — that recurrence was inevitable?
I would love to hear your experience.
