Chippewa Valley LGBTQ-plus We are an LGBTQ+ Center serving communities in and around the Chippewa Valley, Wisconsin email [email protected] for more information

We aim to provide services and create educational programs that promote well-being and unity within & among the LGBTQ+ communities. We work to promote understanding, tolerance, and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ communities and of individuals within those communities in the Chippewa Valley region. Through efforts like our annual Pride celebration and Q***r Prom, and our participation in area gatherings

and events, we hope not only to normalize q***rness in the Valley but to provide spaces for LGBTQ+ people to meet safely in joy and solidarity. By building resources like our lending library and upcoming Chippewa Valley resource guide, we attempt to connect community members with the tools to live openly and fully, from finding affirming and effective healthcare to being able to experience the vibrant landscape of q***r art and expression.

We also strive to connect local LGBTQ+ people to social opportunities and engagement through support and interest groups like our teen hangouts, penpal program, gaming guild, and more. Further, we seek to connect outside of the q***r community through involvement with the Chippewa Valley Transformation Project and partnerships with other vital local organizations and movements.

And still, our work leaves room to grow, to change, and to continue to push for LGBTQ+ equity in all aspects of public and private life. We encourage community members looking for support, information, or to get involved with what we do to reach out and contact us, and to let us know how we can best serve you.

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Pride in the Park 2026 is is this weekend, and we are still looking for a few more helping hands to join our volunteer team! This is your opportunity to give back, and help make an unforgettable experience come to life!

Some of the roles we need help with include:

🚚 Loading the Uhaul on Friday
🎪 Park setup
🦺 Safety Team
🧑‍🎤 Entertainment assistance
..and more!

Our doors are officially open for our regular Drop‑In Hours at the Chippewa Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center! 🏳️‍🌈

Drop by our community center at 505 S. Dewey St. on Wednesdaysanytime between 9 AM and 3 PM and Thursdays between 11am-3pm to grab a cup of coffee, access free Wi‑Fi, explore our LGBTQ+ library, check out our resource shelves, or enjoy some crafts and creative activities. ☕📚🖍️

We are proud to stand with those calling on UW Health and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin to resume medical care for transgender youth. We believe that every person deserves the chance to live as their authentic self, and that includes the youth in our communities who depend on gender affirming care.

The best way we can support children and families right now is not by limiting access to life-saving medical care, but to ensure that resources remain available and that families have somewhere to turn to for help when they need it most.
