Collective Choir

Collective Choir Eau Claire's downtown Gospel choir- an interdependent, interdenominational community lifting up the praise of Jesus through Gospel and Hip-Hop.

The Collective Choir is a group of people who are using soulful Gospel and Hip-hop to pull people of Eau Claire into deeper community. Together they lift up a new standard in praise to our Creator God, and his anointed one, Jesus, wherever people would invite them. They recognize our society's immediate need for genuine community, and offer people in the Chippewa Valley a place to belong without n

eeding to 'put on a face'. They serve as a "stepping stone" into spiritual community for people who haven't experienced the Church, or who have been wounded by the Church. They are a performing ensemble and prepare to bring excellent and exuberant music to Eau Claire and the surrounding region. The music is original and covered urban gospel music, as well as arrangements of well known praise and inspirational tunes redone in a gospel style. The Choir is currently under the direction of Michael Rambo (the MRP, the Shillelagh Lads, CLC music direction - Peace Church).

See how the summer went for our Teen music program!

Woah! We just wrapped up our CollECtive Jam summer band run last week. 22 Students participated from 7 different schools to form 3 bands preparing with private lessons and rehearsals over two months with 5 gigs. Each band grew in their skills and in community over the summer, and many students even mustered the courage to share their faith through personal testimonies. We relish the moments of creativity, silliness, prayer, grit, and teamwork! Our students also got a lot of hands-on experience with live production - learning routing and how to set up sound equipment. Imagine how much more confidently each student will be able to serve in their schools and church groups!

Volunteers needed THIS SATURDAY morning to load in (6am) and load out (12:45 pm) at Phoenix park in Eau Claire as these wonderful young ladies get ready to praise the Lord with CollECtive Choir. We have jobs for people who can lift 25 pounds, and jobs for those who can lift 50 lbs. 9:30 and 11:00am concerts. Let us know if you can make it!
