We had the privilege to partner with Eau Claire County Children and Family Services by donating overflowing totes of toys, along with lots of bicycles (each with helmets) and scooters to be given to children attending their Annual Foster Care & Kinship Appreciation Picnic.

For us, this donation is about so much more than toys and bikes. It’s about reminding children who may be walking through some of the hardest moments of their young lives that they are seen, valued and cared for by their community.

We appreciate the opportunity to come alongside our county’s Children and Family Services and support the children they serve. We believe caring for vulnerable children is a community effort, and we are thankful for the generous individuals, businesses and supporters who make it possible for us to say “yes” when there is a need. St Marks Lutheran Church provided all the school supplies.

We are grateful to be part of a community that believes every child deserves to experience joy, belonging and the opportunity to simply be a kid.

Imagine being a child entering foster care with only the clothes on your back, leaving behind everything familiar and stepping into a world filled with uncertainty.
For some children, this happens just hours after they are born. For others, it happens as a teenager. No matter their age, they deserve to know that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
We have the privilege of stepping into those moments by providing essentials, comfort items, and a few things that are simply theirs—reminders that even in the midst of a difficult transition, someone cares.
With our New Placement Packages, we are so grateful for every opportunity to wrap a child in practical care and tangible love when they need it most.

HarvestCare has a fillable Online Form that Eau Claire County utilizes for new foster and kinship placements. Once we receive a referral, a ‘package’ is brought or shipped to the families doorstep. This not only lets the foster families feel seen and known, but the child (placement) is shown care and love.
Three recent New Placements:
🌸15 year old teen girl-Requested Amazon gift card to purchase bedding.
🧸12 month old boy was provided with clothes, comfort item and necessities
⭐️13year old teen boy was in need of clothing and shoes
