Once Upon A Prom, Inc. Nonprofit This event was founded by two women who recognize that Prom is a pivotal event in a girl’s life.

With fond memories of their own proms, their wish is for every girl to have the ability to experience Prom regardless of their financial situation. This is a fun event for the girls and a fun shopping experience. All dresses will be donated with the requirement that each girl complete six hours of community service to qualify.

Yesterday was the final day and another great success 😊 Students come from all around, even up to 3 hours away.

Throughout the last 5 days, just shy of 300 students came through to get their dress, shoes, a hand bag, and jewelry for prom.

That’s over 1800 hours of community service these students did to give back!!!! Many of them did more than the 6 hours asked of them.

Yesterday and today were filled with more students getting all their goodies for prom!

Once Upon A Prom is getting ready for another incredible shopping week, and we need amazing people to help make it happen.

From welcoming students and helping them find dresses to organizing gowns, assisting in dressing rooms, and celebrating those “this is the one!” moments—our volunteers are the heart of this experience.

There’s still shopping appointments available!

If you know a student who needs help finding the perfect dress for prom, we would love to welcome them.

📅 Shopping Dates: March 19–22, 2026

Students will have the opportunity to shop a beautiful selection of dresses and leave with something that makes them feel confident and ready for an unforgettable night. They also can choose shoes, handbag, and jewelry.....all for just doing 6 hours of community service.
