Announcing the Retirement of our Executive Director Pat Stein

Although Pat officially retired from Bolton Refuge House last week Friday, we couldn’t let this incredible milestone pass without taking a moment to celebrate her and the tremendous impact she has had on our organization and the survivors we serve.

For nearly 30 years, Pat has been a dedicated leader, advocate, and champion for Bolton Refuge House and the community we serve. Throughout her career, she has helped guide the organization through challenging times, strengthened our services, supported our staff, and—most importantly—remained committed to the safety, dignity, and empowerment of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Her leadership has left a lasting mark on Bolton. The organization we are today—and the foundation we have to build upon for tomorrow—is in no small part a reflection of Pat’s dedication and years of service.

Retirement marks the beginning of a new chapter for us in welcoming new leadership and ideas into our organization, but the legacy Pat leaves behind will continue to be part of Bolton Refuge House for years to come.

Pat, thank you for your years of service, your advocacy, and your unwavering commitment to survivors. We are incredibly grateful for everything you have given to Bolton throughout the years.

Please join us in wishing Pat a very happy and well-deserved retirement! 🎉💜

Congratulations, Pat! We wish you all the best in this next chapter.
