Eau Claire Community Foundation The Eau Claire Community Foundation (ECCF) is a bridge connecting donors and charities. Your gift will benefit our community forever.

ECCF establishes endowments that are invested to provide long-term support for charitable purposes. We are widely recognized in the area as the leading community resource for promoting philanthropy, collaboration and innovation, and building endowments. We award grants annually in the following categories:

1) "Create Culture" - programs and organizations that enhance the quality of life in our co

mmunity through music, visual and performing arts, and museums

2) "Form Futures" - programs that provide instruction for children and adults offered by established institutions or non-profit organizations, as well as programs that offer learning or community development opportunities

3) "Give Green" - programs that engage children and/or adults in activities that improve or sustain the quality of our earth and all natural resources. Also, programs that provide opportunities for children and/or adults to engage in sports, fitness, and health and recreational activities.

4) "Offer Opportunities" - programs that provide for important needs for children, youth, adults, families, or community needs such as food, shelter, safety, clothing, and assistance for people with disabilities.

The Eau Claire Community Foundation concluded its 2026 Community Grant Cycle on May 27, formally announcing the 46 area nonprofits receiving funding as part of the total $235,000 awarded. One of those recipients is Nick's Dog Treats Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the Augusta-based coffee shop and retailer, Nicks Dog Treats & Coffee Brew.

“Seeing these grants in action is incredibly rewarding,” said Wesley Escondo, CEO and president of the ECCF. “They empower local organizations to reach more people, deepen their impact and continue responding to he needs and opportunities they see every day. We are grateful to the donors and fundholders who make this work possible.”
