Hey Friends of CVBC - we are excited to share that the Eau Claire Male Chorus concert is coming up THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY 4/12 and 4/13!

**Please note: due to unforseen circumstances, CVBC boys are not able to be singing at these shows this year. We are hopeful to see you at other ECMC shows in the future!**

Friends - after a bit of a long break, we are excited to announce that CVBC practices will begin THIS THURSDAY 11/2 at 4pm, St Mark Lutheran Church & School, Eau Claire!

We are excited to welcome back all returning members as well as any new boys who might be interested in trying out Boys Choir to see what we are all about and if it's a good fit for you!

So much fun at our end of the year picnic last night at Riverside Park! 🌭🍦⛱

After an emotional season, it was a blessing that families could get together to enjoy great food, friendship, swimming and ice cream in a fun setting. Some boys weren't able to make it, and it is sad to say goodbye to some new as well as long time members who are moving and won't be with us next year 💙

👏 Thank you to all the families for all your hard work and effort in getting your boys to practice, helping with fundraisers and everything in between - have a great Summer! We look forward to seeing you at some appearances this Summer and welcoming everyone back in the Fall 🎶🌟

Today our boys had the honor of singing together for their truly amazing director, Marty Pederson. The Lord took Mr. Pederson home last week and the boys were asked to lead the first half of a beautiful hymn, Jesus Strong and Kind, at his funeral. We also had the opportunity to sing for him and his family in the last couple weeks.

There is no doubt that all CVBC families, past and current, have been so very blessed to have had these years with Marty at the helm of our choir! He has made positive memories with our crew and taught them so much musically! The gift he shared will be carried with them as they remember Marty each time they sing or snug up their red bow ties to perform. A heartfelt thank you to Jill for giving up her time with Marty one night a week to allow him to be able to impact these boys for a lifetime. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this tough transition.

These fine looking guys all did a great job on Saturday night, it's incredible to see how our group has grown, and how each boy has also grown in their ability and confidence this year 👏👏

A special THANK YOU to all the parents and supporters who keep CVBC going - and to our very fun and patient director for this show, Casey Hilts from UWEC. He stepped in about a month before the show to lead our group, we would not have been able to sing in this show without his leadership!

The Eau Claire Male Chorus is proud to present "Brothers Sing On", our Spring concert coming up *SOON* - one show only! - Saturday, April 15 at 7pm. Regis High School Auditorium, with Special Guests Chippewa Valley Boys Choir.

Tickets are available locally at Festival Foods locations in Eau Claire, or online at Volumeonetickets.org. $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Children under age 12 Free!

Tickets are ON SALE NOW for our Spring concert with the Eau Claire Male Chorus on Saturday 4/15 at 7pm, Regis HS Auditorium. $12 in advance, $15 at the door - all children 12 and under are free admission. **Let us know if you need tickets, you can buy them through any CVBC member!**

It's been a busy couple of weeks for CVBC! Too much for one post!

Last week, our Boys Choir families shared their time and efforts to serve a Lenten Meal at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Eau Claire to support the family of Marty Pederson, our amazing CVBC Director. As you can see from the photos, sisters and alumni families helped, too!

Many of you may know, Marty was involved in a serious car accident in February, please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers as they navigate this difficult time. His family updates a Caring Bridge page frequently, and they do have a GoFundMe set up - here are links to both:
