And that's a wrap for the market today! Thank you to our volunteers, Rocky, Emily, Ka, and Sophia for your help! The work is just so much more joyous and fulfilling when we're doing with people who cares as much as we do! A special shout-out to Maiv Flower Farm for continuing to partner with us for donated fresh local produce.

We are so excited to bring a new event to downtown Eau Claire with "Meet Me Under the Stars: A Night Market + Community Film Experience."

At Power Up Eau Claire, we believe community power begins with relationships. When we eat together, laugh together, learn one another's stories, and share the same spaces, we begin to see each other not as strangers, but as neighbors.

Meet Me Under the Stars celebrates the diversity of Eau Claire while helping create a downtown that feels vibrant, welcoming, and connected a place where everyone has an opportunity to belong.

Thank you to United Way Greater Chippewa Valley for their support! We recieve a grant to purchase a commercial fridge for the Community Wellness Market and this week, we were able to purchase these units.

Having refrigeration will allow us to order perishable items from Feed My People as well as keep more of our donated produce fresh.

A special shout-out to our Community Organizer, Youa and volunteer, Rocky for their hard work picking these up.

The Community Wellness Market will be open tomorrow from 5-630pm at our office at Banbury. See comments for directions.

We had a wonderful time hosting ECASD HMONG PTA Back to School Carnival at our office! One of our guiding value as an organization is collaboration that benefit the greater good of our community. We are proud to partner with Hmong PTSA by providing the space and programming for this year's event, opening the Community Wellness Market to families during the carnival, and sharing additional back to school supplies and resources.

It really takes a village and we're grateful to be in community with other nonprofits and business who cares as deeply as we do.

Eau Claire Area HMAA, Boys and Girls Club, World Relief, Planned Parenthood of Northwestern WI, Opportunity Wisconsin, Eau Claire Area School District, the YMCA, the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce, the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, La Le Pop, Claw Kraze, Eat O’Clock Food Truck, the Cravangs Food Truck, Pearly Teabar, The Spot On Hastings. Caring for community is at the foundation of our power building work at Power Up Eau Claire. Earlier this week, we volunteered at the 7th Annual WECARE EAU CLAIRE school backpack event along with community members from the Eau Claire Area HMAA, ECASD HMONG PTA and the Hmong Christian Church.
