Kaye also participated in softball in the 11th and 12th grades. As a member of the Class of 1985, Kaye was an Honor Graduate and elected to the Gatewood Hall of Fame. Graduation was not the final legacy Kaye left at Gatewood. After having children, she and her
husband, Mark, returned to Eatonton so their children could attend Gatewood. Gatewood was not only blessed to have her children as students, but also to have Kaye as a member of the faculty. Kaye’s legacy will continue live on at Gatewood, not only through her family and the lives of those she touched, but with a building meant to inspire young girls to achieve their personal bests in all they do. Her children are Hope (Class of 2014), Ross (Class of 2017) and Caleb (Class of 2019).
