Eaton Rapids Women's Club - GFWC The Eaton Rapids Women's Club - GFWC is a community service organization dedicated to helping our community as well as GFWC projects.

The General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) is one of the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational women's volunteer organizations. The GFWC Eaton Rapids Women's Club has been an integral part of the Eaton Rapids Community since its inception on February 4, 1947. Club meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month of September through June in the community room located in the lower level of the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital at 6:30pm.

Several members of the club placed pinwheels in the Pocket Park in downtown Eaton Rapids in support of Autism Acceptance and Child Abuse Prevention.

April marks Autism Acceptance Month with World Autism Day occurring on April 2 every year. The month is meant to be a time for uplifting autistic voices and sharing in the community's joy.

April also marks National Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month, an initiative led by Prevent Child Abuse America and its national network of state chapter.p
