Please help us network sweet Rudy. We know there is a perfect home out there for him somewhere. He is not part of our program, but is currently being fostered for MHS. He is doing great in his foster home, but the problem is he does not do well at the shelter so he is not getting the exposure he needs to find his forever family. He also gets a little bit too stressed at adoption events. Rudy loves being with his people and he’s great with other dogs. He has not had the best start in life so we are trying to help him find his happy forever.

Here is a note from his foster mom:

Do you have a home for Rudy? He's a handsome pit bull, about 2 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. I am fostering him in South Lyon for Michigan Humane and he needs a home. Rudy is a loving boy who enjoys being with his people. He will place his head in your lap and wait for you to pet him. He has a problem with being crated and we are working on that. Happy Holidays!!! 🎄🎅🐾🐶🎄🎅🐾🐶

2024 was a milestone year for us. 🎊🥳🎊🥳 It marked 20 years of being on this crazy journey called animal rescue. Lots and lots of happy times mixed with some sad. We’ve helped many precious souls move on to their forever homes.

We hope to continue this journey as long as we are physically and financially able to do so but we could use your help. 2024 was a very expensive year for us as we helped with a few medical cases that drained our rainy day medical fund. We also can always use help with supplies.

Can you send us a little holiday cheer? No amount is too small. We are also including our chewy wish list. We would like to roll into 2025 ready to take on new challenges.

Lulu it’s still looking for a family to call her own 🐾🐶 We thought we had found a home for Lulu but it just didn’t end up being the right fit for either her or the family. While we are sad when they are returned, it helps us learn more about them and what type of home they would do best in. Lulu would love a home where someone is home with her most of the time. She came from an active family and is currently in an active foster home so she gets a bit anxious and restless when left by herself.

Lulu does fine with the other dogs as long as they are laid-back, quiet companions. She isn’t very playful but does like to hang with her buddies outside. Lulu does fine with cats but will chase them if they run.

Lulu is about eight years old and she is spayed and up-to-date on all medical. For more information, please email [email protected] or send us a message.
