🏮 Eastvale Lantern Festival 🏮

Our first ever lantern festival has ended after 2 days of fun activities and shows! We're super proud of all our volunteers who showed up and helped spread Chinese culture to everyone in Eastvale. Volunteers worked tirelessly for 3 consecutive days to put on this event. Special thanks to those that showed up at 5AM Saturday to set up and those staying until 11PM on Sunday to clean up trash.

Huge thanks to our partners Eastvale Chinese American Association, Panana Night Market , City of Eastvale, CA , and our vendors for making this event possible! The amount of people that showed up to the event accumulated to an unexpected total of around 15,000 over the two nights. We’re looking forward to more events like this so we can all grow and engage as a community.

On January 12, 2022, CAVA was honored to be recognized at the Eastvale City ( ) Council Meeting. Along with 4 other community groups, and the council recognized us for our efforts at the Miracle on Citrus Christmas event.

🎄Merry Christmas! 🎁

CAVA volunteers celebrated a jolly 2021 Christmas with the Eastvale community at the 2 day Miracle on Citrus event hosted by City of Eastvale, CA !

More than 80 CAVA volunteers were in charge of fluffing snow at the Snow Field, monitoring kids at the Inflatables, ensuring safety at the Obstacle Course, catching sleds at the Snow Slides, and cleaning trash during the event.

After the event, volunteers even got a special train ride to the North Pole meeting Santa and his REAL Reindeers.

Thank you to all of the volunteers that stood in the freezing cold for 8 hours. Thank you to our trash cleanup crew for doing the dirtiest work to keep the event clean. Thank you to our amazing partners ERHS Key Club, RHIS Lead and ECAA.

Yesterday on the 23rd of November we had a Thanksgiving food drive at Corona High School. This was a partnered event with "For The People Task Force Food Bank" and "Corona Norco Unified School District" ( ). The event was a success with over 60 volunteers coming for two shifts total throughout the day.

City of Eastvale, CA with over 6,000 members from the community, the first Eek!vale was an amazing success! 👻CAVA brought over 70 volunteers including new members from RHIS NJHS. Volunteers ran the fun zone area which included the Inflatable Jumpers, Hay Maze, and Rock Wall. Special thanks to + for signing up for custodial duties and keeping the event clean!

Find out if you qualify for the President Service Awards! You will automatically be qualified for it if you have the required hours per year. All who would like to receive the award will must pay $11 for the medal and signed certificate upon receiving the award.

Make sure your hours have been properly tracked and recorded. If we didn’t give you hours or recorded the wrong amount of hours for an event, please join the hour tracking group chat and read the group notice.

If you have additional hours outside of CAVA, have your service log and we will track it within CAVA and be counted towards the President’s Service Award. Join the hour tracking groupchat.

🥉Bronze Award- 50 hours
🥈Silver Award- 75 hours
🥇Gold Award- 100 hours

If you are above 16 years old:🥉Bronze Award- 100 hours
🥈Silver Award- 175 hours
🥇Gold Award- 250 hours

We will give out certificates at the end of the year!
