It is with great sadness that I announce that I am closing our non-profit - The Destined To Travel Make A Difference Organization. Post Covid our donations have dwindled to just a couple of donors. And unfortunately, the Board of Directors has funded much of the purchases over the past years, we cannot continue to do so. Therefore, we have gifted whatever funds we were holding to assist the Leaders of Tomorrow Children's Home, in replacing and rebuilding after the terrible fire that swept through their sleeping quarters this past September. The accounts are now closed.

We will continue to assist the children with their needs as we can, and we continue to accept donations as you like. They can now be made through PayPal using this owners email address. For those who would like to make donations, please send us a message through this page and we will provide you with the email for PayPal donations. We will also continue to offer our Make A Difference safaris if we have sufficient interest. We will announce those on this page as they become available.

We appreciate all that our supporters have done to assist us in our effort to fund the needs of these children. We are forever grateful.

Thank you so much to everyone that contributed to donating supplies for the kids. Here are just a few of the items pictured here. We were able to provide new clothing and shoes for each kid. Thank you, Greta Vowell and Mikaela 💕 Thank you, Lorna L Adley For providing period underwear. The women were very excited about that. It will make such a big difference in their world. Thank you to Rozanne Miller For the soccer balls. The kids were so excited about that. And we learned once we got there that the kids are super into basketball at the moment and just had their basketball court repainted and have a coach coming to work with them so members from our group traveling with us all chipped in to get new basketballs for the kids. Now they can all practice together. And many of our guests traveling with us also donated financially along with new clothing, socks, underwear, toothpaste, etc. So so amazing!!!!!! Feeling so grateful.

The children's home and community center runs completely on donation so all of this goes a really long way and allows them to use funds for other things for the kids.

We're looking for at least ten interested travelers that want to experience life with the children of the Leaders of Tomorrow Children's Home in Tanzania, Africa, operated by the one and only Pete O'Neal. Norah Jacob Shedrack Paul and especially to Paul Panga Gervas, who made 2023 a great year for Destined to Travel - Safari Kay. We look forward to 2024 - where we will welcome more wonderful groups to enjoy the experience with us, bigger ones to help these drivers and more busy, busy, busy, doing what they love.
