Malika Williams, Founder and Executive Director of The L.I.V.E. Outreach, recently completed a 5-week Toastmasters course, and the experience proved to be both impactful and rewarding.
Throughout the program, she had the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of inspiring individuals, each bringing unique perspectives, stories, and life experiences. The relationships built along the way were just as valuable as the skills gained.
One of the greatest lessons from the course was the importance of continuously developing public speaking and communication skills. Whether in leadership, business, nonprofit work, or everyday life, effective communication builds confidence, strengthens connections, and creates opportunities for growth.
As a community leader dedicated to empowering youth and families through The L.I.V.E. Outreach, Malika recognizes that sharpening public speaking skills is imperative to effectively inspire, educate, and advocate for others.
This experience has equipped her with greater confidence, meaningful new relationships, and practical tools that will continue to support both her personal and professional journey. She is grateful to everyone who contributed to making the program such a memorable and enriching experience.
