Every single night when I get home from 1315, I recap for my husband as many of the cool things that happened as I can remember😂.

Today my favorite things were: a new customer who told me she texted her husband saying “I found the place!” Such an honor to be “the place”😍;

A 9 year old who had two song requests; “I Will Always Love You”, by Dolly Parton, and “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvanah😂;

And some deep conversations with one of our regulars who used to only get to spend a half hour with us on most visits, but now that we are open until 5pm, we had more time to chat and her son had more time to play.

And then getting a text from that same mom after I got home telling me that she was doing grant searches for us.

Amazing❤️

It’s a special place and it’s an honor to be part of it.

Grateful for every family we have met, and looking forward to the new ones we meet every day💚🧡🩵

Yesterday a family came to play for the first time, and when they were leaving the little boy said to me and April “This is the gateway to Heaven.”😂❤️😂

It makes a great tagline, but we will stick with:

Every single day we have at least one new customer, and today was no different. To sit and talk with a mom while her kids play is the coolest job on earth😂😂. It is a joy to listen to their reactions to 1315, and to go straight into spontaneous brainstorm sessions with them about all the people we will be helping with our space. The special needs parents who jump thru hoops and often still end up without adequate support for their kids are so grateful to find us. They all comment about how it is the perfect space for their kid to play and explore while they get rare down time to sit and relax.

And every day we have repeat customers, and today was no different. And one of our regulars saw that we didn’t install our door yet, so her husband is coming Friday to take care of it.

And another mom said “I love you guys” when she left with her pre verbal, beautiful boy.

It’s special, we’re telling you! You are not alone❤️. Who will be the next ones to check us out cautiously and leave feeling like family? 💚🩵🧡

And if you are a pediatric therapist, please come utilize our space! We have so many therapists coming in now! We do not charge you to use the space, the child just pays to come in💚🧡🩵
