In Search of Being, by G.I. Gurdjieff

There is a new book out, providing a great introduction on the Gurdjieff Work. This book draws on Gurdjieff's words from In Search of the Miraculous, and Views from the Real World, but are recorded and arranged by Mme. Jeanne de Salzmann, one of Gurdjieff's foremost pupils.

"A new and comprehensive restatement of Gurdjieff’s early teaching in his own words, speaking directly to all who aspire to a higher level of consciousness."

“Self-observation brings man to the realization of the necessity of self-change. And in observing himself a man notices that self-observation itself brings about certain changes in his inner processes. He begins to understand that self-observation is an instrument of self-change, a means of awakening.”
