Staff Spotlight!

This is Susan Briggs, MA, LPC. Susan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Missouri, a Master of Arts degree from Missio Seminary, and is a licensed professional counselor. Susan uses a variety of counseling approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Susan serves various clients including married couples, single adults and teens.

As an avid reader, Susan continues to learn and grow. Beyond her counseling work, she is also a pottery instructor, operating Dust to Dawn Pottery Studio in Nazareth, PA. Susan believes that being a part of CCM’s growth since it’s humble beginnings in 2013 has been a privilege.

No season of hardship lasts forever.

In the middle of life's challenges, it can be difficult to see what lies ahead. But God's promise reminds us that suffering is not the end of the story. He is at work, restoring what feels broken, strengthening what has grown weary, and establishing us in His unfailing love.

As we continue our theme of Restoring Hope this month, may this verse remind you that the God who walks with you through every season is also the One who restores.
