A Taste of Ukraine – Ukrainian Cultural Exchange
The members of Ashlar-Aspetuck are very proud of Indi Nunes, the child of one of our members.
Last week’s showing of “Words from the Front” at the Easton Library was a tremendous success, and it was inspiring to see such strong support from the Easton community.
Indi whose leadership and dedication brought this program to life. She worked alongside Mark Yurkiw, a tireless humanitarian, where Indi put in the time and effort behind the scenes to make a series of events and that evening meaningful and impactful.
As Indi shared:
“I’m really happy on how the play turned out and the support we got. I can only hope this next event will help bring more awareness and support for the cause. I’m especially excited for the Ukrainian food being served, as well as the art exhibit.”
We’re grateful to everyone who attended and supported the event.
