We were contacted by someone in Gower about fostering a few of our oldies over the winter. ❤️ They fostered for us several years ago, and we’re so thankful to have them step up once again.

We truly couldn’t do what we do without the people who are willing to partner with us and help care for these babies. Rescue really does take a village, and we’re incredibly grateful for ours.

Thank you so much, Marsha, for opening your home and heart to a few of our seniors this winter! 🐴❤️

Within seconds of sharing that we could give this sweet blind Appaloosa gelding a safe home, a generous donor covered his entire bail! ❤️

Sometimes I wish my heart didn’t love animals quite this much… because big love means big heartache.

These memorial placards arrived this week in honor of our rescue seniors, Hollywood and Cricket — but they were never “just rescues.”

They became family. And we loved them.

And if you didn’t know…
Horses that are truly loved never leave this earth with an intact tail. ❤️

One positive about the winter weather we’ve had this past week is how much she’s looked forward to our mash visits. Now she’s a completely different horse — following you around and demanding attention. 🥰 ……. And breakfast.
