We are a group of citizens concerned about the amount of trash on the roadsides and parks in our town. Our hope is to raise awareness and educate people about the far- reaching negative effects of litter and trash on our environment. Our vision is for a clean and healthy environment for the community, now and for generatio

ns to come. The second stage of the project will involve educating the public to become more litter-aware in an effort to reduce or eradicate trash in our town. It will also entail continued cleanup of trash and debris throughout the year.

Keep Easton Beautiful is sharing this link to this very interesting 50 page online guide that the Easton Environmental Stewardship Committee created for our beautiful town. This will help all of us to understand how to protect our natural resources better. A huge thank you to Christina Refford and Carolyn Mc Cafferty for developing and sharing this with all Easton residents.

Was going through some old papers this morning and ran across this note from the Easton DPW thanking me for participating in their roadside cleanup…in 2015! Here it is, over a decade later and Easton Grange 196 decides to reinstate this great program once again for the town of Easton. It is so great to know that this important piece of Easton Community pride carries on!

Was going through some old papers this morning and ran across this note from the Easton DPW thanking me for participating in their roadside cleanup…in 2015! Here’s the “after” video from today’s cleanup of the embankment near the entrance to the Big Y Plaza. The area was highly trashed with large volumes of plastic bags, receipts, and plastic sheeting, most of which appears to blow across the parking lot. We also removed the two Target shopping carts earlier this week.
