PRESERVATION EASTON Public Meeting

Protecting Easton’s historic character and advancing responsible development that strengthens our neighborhoods and the local economy.
Last month’s inaugural meeting of Preservation Easton was highly successful: more than 90 people turned out to learn about and join this new organization.
At this second meeting on June 30, there will be further opportunities to join the organization, but perhaps more importantly, you're invited to help discuss, organize and volunteer to join one of the committees that is expected to shape Preservation Easton’s agenda in the coming months and years.
These committees are:
• Design Review: study and comment on development proposals involving new construction, renovations, open space, lighting and signage, etc.
• Education and Outreach: host workshops and lectures; keep the public informed.
• Preservation: inventory, document and protect historic resources.
• Government & Legislation: attend public meetings; monitor proposed legislation.
