They’re UP!

On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Rotary Club of Easton, Maryland, District 7630 proudly placed more than 1,000 beautiful American flags throughout Idlewild Park and across Easton for Flags for Heroes!

As America celebrates its 250th birthday and we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we are deeply grateful for your extraordinary support. Together, you have helped contribute well over half a million dollars to our community — funding special equipment for the Sheriff’s Office, a K-9 for the Easton Police Department, support for the Civil Air Patrol, the Easton, Oxford, and Trappe Fire Departments, the Talbot Paramedic Foundation, and so much more.
These American flags, flying proudly across our community, are symbols of gratitude for the countless heroes who have sacrificed so much since our nation’s founding to keep our country free. They also honor the everyday heroes in our own lives — those whose courage, service, and compassion make all the difference.

This Memorial Day weekend, we invite you to remember and honor them all.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped place the flags on Wednesday and to all those who work year-round to raise the funds that are reinvested into the community we love so dearly.
