ETC of Easton

ETC of Easton ETC is a community service organization that raises funds by supplying harvest lunches to local farmers.

With those funds the club gives back to the community with events and donations for local schools, clubs, and families.

Our January meeting was held at one of our members homes. We had some tasty treats and created some super cute and fun door decorations! (See below)

Our meeting that was conducted after the food and fun was productive as well...ETC committed to donating an item to the 7th Annual St Jude Spring Fling fundraiser (see page for event details). The group also committed to donating to the Mason County 4-H and Junior Fair as well as the local fireworks fund.

ETC has some annual events that we have started in the community...so we finalized plans to once again be distributing May Day Baskets to those we hear about that could use a smile, Stuffing eggs for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Easton park, and we kicked around organizing a Glow Run at the Illni Central track in Mason City if we can generate some interest.

Tonight's ETC meeting took place at one of our members home. We discussed places and people to give to as well as things the community might be in need of

Motions were passed to donate to:

The local American Legion Post #496 in Mason City in order to help with their building repairs. The legion supports the community by hosting many events ~ search for their page to see all they do on the community and to support their fundraising goals.🔨📐

We also shopped and filled wish lists for multiple local angel tree kids - gifts will be delivered prior to Christmas.💝

We moved to purchase extra clothes to have on hand at the Illini Central grade school. There has been a need for young boys and girls clothes. Generic sweats, socks, and sweatshirts or types of clothes that stretch and fit multiple sizes would be greatly appreciated if anyone is making room in their kiddos closet for santas future deliveries🎅

ETC also puts up decorations in the Easton Community. Wreaths, garland, and lights have been hung🎄

If anyone knows of families in our community in need, or projects in our communities that need support please dont hesitate to reach out to is via messenger and we will bring it up at our next meeting.
