💙✨ Celebrating TWO Years of Leadership, Dedication & Heart! ✨🤦♀️
Today we’re celebrating a very special milestone! Linda’s 2-year anniversary with Fostering Hope Northampton County! 🎉
Linda serves as our Treasurer, but let’s be clear, she does SO much more than balance the books! She’s the woman who makes every donated dollar work harder, stretches every penny, and somehow manages to keep all of our numbers straight while the rest of us are busy dreaming up our next big idea!
Linda is truly one of the driving forces behind everything we do.
On any given day, you’ll find her at our Foster-Share Closet, organizing, problem-solving, brainstorming new ideas, and finding ways to make our operations more efficient, thoughtful, and responsive to the needs of the children and families we serve.
She’s always thinking about what we can do better, how we can do more with what we have, and how we can make every experience a little easier and more meaningful for the families walking through our doors.
Her work isn’t always the kind that gets photographed or celebrated publicly, but it is absolutely the kind of work that makes everything else possible. And while Linda might not go looking for the spotlight, we’re putting her in it today anyway!
In just two years, Linda has helped lead a team that has grown from serving approximately 140 youth in 2024 to more than 800 youth in 2026 alone! Behind those numbers are hundreds of children who have received clothing, shoes, hygiene essentials, comfort, dignity, and a reminder that their community cares.
That kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident. It takes people who show up, roll up their sleeves, think creatively, and do the work, even when nobody is watching.
Linda’s unwavering dedication to our mission is a beautiful example of what happens when compassion meets action. She doesn’t just believe in what we do. She helps make it happen, day after day, one thoughtfully stretched dollar, one organized clothing rack, and one new idea at a time.
And because apparently helping keep an entire nonprofit running isn’t enough to keep her busy, Linda also finds time to volunteer with her church, travel, and enjoy spending time with her beloved grandson!
Linda, your generosity, thoughtfulness and genuine passion for helping others have left an extraordinary mark on this organization and the youth we serve.
You may not seek the spotlight, but your impact deserves to be recognized and celebrated.
We are immeasurably grateful for your leadership, your friendship, and the countless hours you’ve poured into making Fostering Hope what it is today.
