🏀 The Challenge Begins… 🏀

We’ve been talking about creating a new tradition, and today it officially starts.

Outsiders Youth is launching our Community Basketball Challenge—bringing together organizations, businesses, first responders, schools, and community leaders for some friendly competition, all while supporting our youth.

Our goal is simple:
🏀 Build relationships.
🤝 Unite our community.
💙 Show our youth what teamwork and sportsmanship look like.
🎉 Create a tradition that grows bigger every single year.

Today we’re announcing our very first challenge… 👀

Will they accept?

🏆 Who will take home the Community Challenge Trophy… or will it stay home with Outsiders? Only time will tell! Each challenge brings another opportunity to earn bragging rights and claim the trophy.

🎥 This entire challenge video was created and edited by our youth and we think they did an amazing job! We’re incredibly proud of them for stepping outside their comfort zone❤️

This is only the beginning. We’re hoping to challenge many more organizations throughout the year and eventually turn this into a community tournament that everyone looks forward to.

🏀 Calling All Referees! 🏀

Outsiders Youth Lounge is in the early planning stages of launching our first annual community basketball tournament, and we’re looking to connect with experienced basketball referees who would be interested in being part of this exciting event.

If you’re a certified official—or have experience officiating youth or community basketball games—we’d love to hear from you!

We’re also happy to accept referrals if you know someone who would be a great fit.

Today was an incredible day at West Ward National Night Out! 💙🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, learned about our mission, participated in our activities, and supported Outsiders Youth Lounge. Seeing so many families and young people connect with us reminds us why we do this every day.

🎟️ Congratulations to our winners!

* 3 families will be receiving New York Mets tickets!
* More than 15 youth will be receiving movie tickets!

This is only the beginning. We are committed to creating more opportunities, experiences, and safe spaces for the youth in our community.

As always, if you believe in our mission, we ask that you consider making a donation. We are currently raising funds to:
🚌 Expand and sustain our youth programs
🚌 Provide transportation to and from the Outsiders Youth Lounge for youth who may not otherwise have access

This year, sign-ups are opening a little earlier to help us better plan and prepare for this event.
