We are always happy to help Sheriff Cahillane with the wonderful programs he has implemented.

Earlier this week, I had the great pleasure of reconnecting with our dear friend Robin Bialecki, executive director of the Easthampton Community Center and Food Pantry. Every year, Robin and her dedicated team assemble backpacks filled with supplies that help our men connect with their children and families during the excitement and stress of the back-to-school season.

Robin is truly a force for good in our community. During our visit, she told me that the Center had donated more than 1,000 backpacks throughout Hampshire County, and that the Food Pantry had provided meals for more than 12,000 people during August alone, a number that somehow seems simultaneously impressive and heartbreaking.

I know times are tough, but if you ever wanted to make a donation to a worthwhile cause, you can’t go wrong with Robin and her team. They are all about giving.

Heartfelt thanks to the Big Y employees that came to our Wednesday night pantry hours. They were a great help with the Back to School distribution items.

Huge thanks to the Big Y employees that joined us at the pantry on Monday morning! They did an awesome job handing out vegetables and backpacks to our pantry families!

Huge thanks to United Way- The children are so excited to get a new book with their backpacks.

This past week, we were able to give nearly 400 books to Easthampton Community Center!

The books range from pre-K all the way up through young adult. And they will be free for parents and kids to grab during ECC's upcoming Cookout with Cops event, starting at 4pm this Thursday, August 20, at 12 Clark Street in Easthampton.

In addition to free books and delicious food, ECC will also be giving out free backpacks, school supplies and more!

Monday, Aug 24th. We have 8 pallets of vegetables today. Kale tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, tomatillos, eggplant, grapes, plums, and bread.
Stop and get some today!! We are here until PM.

The farms have been very generous with vegetables today. We have some beautiful broccoli and cucumbers.

Due to predictions of extreme rain/lightning the Food Pantry will be CLOSED for the 9AM to Noon distribution.

Friday, July 31st. We just received a shipment of lettuce, plantains, bread, squash, broccoli, cabbage, and lemonade. Stop in soon. I will be here until it is gone or 5 PM, whichever comes first.
