Dear Summer Camp Families,

I hope you're finding the Independent Projects enjoyable and educational for your child.
We are reading student journals, giving feedback, and believe the program is, for the most part, understood. A good feeling!
Thank you so much for your patience and support. This is new territory for us as Educators, with lots of moving parts!
Thanks also for your donations.

Dear Maple School Family,

I hope this warmer weather is treating you well, and beckons your attention for fresh air and exercise to cure the pandemic doldrums! I know I've been planting vegetables, herbs and flowers this week, and plan to share my garden endeavors with EEASP students, during our virtual Summer Camp program, Tues/Weds/Thurs, from July 7-30. More on that to follow.....

We are very excited that the end of our 32 week, 21stCCLC grant didn't mean the end of our connection to your child(ren)!!!

We invite your child to join in the fun for our 2nd week of "Kid's Club" a free, hour long program, offering enrichments your child(ren) love: Art, Active Movement, Music, Dance and Games with the wonderful and talented EEASP staff. Kid's Club is all about offering what YOUR child wants to do during our special time together-it's okay if we don't stick to the prescribed "plan" and pivot to new worlds! Sometimes, it's nice to share stories and feelings. This pandemic really stinks! Having a group of caring adults, and other Maple kids willing to listen can be helpful. We try to do this.

Please log in at 3:00 for storytelling, jokes, riddles, and student spotlight to get the ball rolling!
Kid's Club Enrichments begin 3:10-3:50, with student sharing ending the day, 3:50-4:00.

Feel free to contact Marcia with any questions. We also invite non-EEASP families to discover us. Spread the word if you're so inclined.
💛

Dear EEASP Families,

Can you believe we are already beginning our 4th week of virtual EEASP? Although my staff and I have developed a decent respect for this platform, it is in no way a substitute for the special relationships we had with our EEASP students at Maple School. We pine for those days!
Considering the circumstances, we hope you are hearing good things about our current offerings. Feel free to send feedback if you'd like. It's always helpful to hear what works and what might not be. We're a flexible bunch, and want nothing more than to please your child.
Thank you parents/guardians for all you are required to do during this pandemic. We appreciate you! Hold strong!

This Monday thru Thursday, from 3:00-4:15, my staff and I offer your child the following fabulous enrichments. Friday, May 1, is reserved for our Surprise Share. You'll have to join us to find out~!

Notes to Parents/Guardians
We would like to assign one student Student Spotlight of the Day. I am prompting families to ask their child to consider sharing a STORY about a special toy, artwork, or anything they'd like us to know about them. A five minute limit or less should do it. I also request pre-approval, as subjects need to be appropriate of course. Let me know if your child is interested, and/or needs assistance, and I will add them to the list!
We are finding Zoom meetings pick up ALL background sounds. Because we have so many students at once, it'd be great if you could make sure your child is in the quietest place possible. Our students can hear your conversations! Thanks.
Please keep your email open to this invitation in the event of a poor connection. We may need to end and restart the meeting. Wait 2 minutes, and try again. Marcia will admit you! Alternatively, if you have a poor connection, click leave meeting, and try again.
