Outermost Ultimate - Cape Outermost Disc - COD Go to Cape Cod Ultimate Frisbee's FB page. 7/27/24 We gather once a week to play a game at Nauset High School. All skill levels and ages are welcome.

Outermost Ultimate will play a pick-up game on Monday evenings at Nauset High School - 100 Cable Road, Eastham--from Memorial Day through Labor Day on the track infield located behind the tennis courts. Outermost Ultimate (formerly known here as Wellfleet Ultimate) is a group of locals who enjoy the sport of Ultimate. Summer folk and visitors are welcome and encouraged to join us. Please bring water, a dark shirt, a white shirt, and cleats if you've got them. See you on the field!

WITH THE START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, THEY HAVE PAVED SOME AREAS THAT WERE DIRT FOR THE SUMMER, SO THERE MAY ACTUALLY BE PARKING NEAR THE TENNIS COURTS. PLAY IT BY EAR AND SEE WHAT'S AVAILABLE WHEN YOU SHOW UP. PARK WHERE YOU CAN OR DRIVE TO THE FIELD--THE TRACK IS LOCATED DOWN THE DIRT PATH PAST THE TENNIS COURTS

Because of the Nauset soccer camp utilizing all the fields at Nauset High School, we have to relocate to a backup location for this Monday's pick-up game. Nauset Middle School/Eldredge Park in Orleans.

Monday, 8/14 @ 5:30 - Hoping for a fist pull by 6p (maybe earlier) to maximize daylight

Nauset Middle School/Eldredge Park - 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans

Plan is to play on the track infield next to the bus parking lot. This field often holds water after any significant rain, so we might have to use the soccer field to the left of the track. TBD upon seeing the condition of the field.

As always, please bring plenty of water, a clearly dark shirt, an obviously WHITE shirt, and cleats if you've got them. The no-see-ums tend to be quite bad at this field, so come armed with your favorite bug dope.

Outermost Ultimate Pick-up

After a few weeks away from Nauset High School because of the ongoing construction, they've installed signage directing folks to the fields and tennis courts. So, we CAN access the field behind the school and will resume playing our Monday evening pick-up games there.

Weather is iffy for Monday. As should be the policy with every field sport/game, if there's thunder & lightning in the area, we will not be playing. It's still a little far out to know for sure if we're going to be affected by any thunderstorms, but I'll be watching the radar on Monday and will send out an email/post on FB if we are NOT playing. If you don't see a post/email, the game is still on and we'll play it by ear as pick-up happens. No post/email, we play, even in the rain.

WHEN YOU TURN ONTO CABLE ROAD, TAKE THE FIRST LEFT INTO THE SCHOOL WHERE THERE ARE LARGE WHITE & RED SIGNS DIRECTING YOU TOWARD THE TENNIS COURTS & FIELDS. WIND YOUR WAY BACK THROUGH THE PODS/TEMPORARY CLASSROOMS TO THE ATHLETIC FIELDS & TENNIS COURTS. THE TRACK IS FOUND BY WALKING BACK THE DIRT PATH TO THE LEFT OF THE TENNIS COURTS.

As always, bring plenty of water, a clearly dark shirt, an obviously WHITE shirt, and cleats if you've got them. Mosquitoes and midges (noseeums) have been pretty bad this year, so bug dope is highly recommended.

Outermost Ultimate Pick-up

Monday, July 3 at 5:30p

Orleans Elementary School - 46 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans

We will be relocating to Orleans Elementary School for, probably, the remainder of the summer for our Monday evening games. I'm still going to post the start time for 5:30p, but the field we'll be using won't be available until 6p. We can stretch and throw on an adjacent field until the big field clears with first pull by around 6:15. We're already starting to lose light, so please try to be ready to hit the field at 6p so we can get in as much playing time as possible through July & August.

Play on the main field located to the left of the tennis courts. Warm up and stretching should be done on the softball field until lacrosse vacates the big field.

Please bring plenty of water, a clearly dark shirt, an obvious WHITE shirt, and cleats if you've got them. Noseeums are pretty bad in this part of Orleans, so bug dope is highly recommended. Not even sure the sacrificial friend will save us.
