What a great day we had at the Memorial as part of the Mount Holly celebration of the 250th. We had a great turnout of guests and our crew downtown said there was a good turnout as well. Thank you to our downtown crew for your time and effort and Main Street Mount Holly as well as Marisa Bozarth for including us in today's festivities.

Sweet colorful reminders of our past visit from the students of Folwell Elementary School in Mount Holly. They were our little garden helpers and helped beautify our yard by planting the daffodil bulbs, and here they are so happy and cheerful in our garden. Great job kids!!

While helping to sort and price books for a recent book sale at the county library, our Director Charles Bruder discovered a Bible published circa 1850 that contained names of the renowned Dr. Still, " Dr. Of The Pinelands" family and 6 original family photographs. Charles was asked to give the Bible to the Executive Director Samuel C. Still III, of the Dr. James Still Historic Office and Education site in Medford NJ on behalf of the Friends of the Burlington County Library, at the John Woolman Memorial.

As God sends the gentle breezes of spring to wake up the trees and get the sap moving, he also reminds us in colorful flowers that spring is on its way. As a reminder our Arboretum is now open and you are welcome to come see the trees as they make that change from winter to spring.

These are the quiet months for guests here at the John Woolman Memorial, but every once in a while we get an amazing visitor. Today we had a Red Shouldered Hawk visit our Arboretum. He was amazing, standing in our Beechnut tree at about 2 feet tall. Clearly looking for an afternoon snack. We have never had one here before so this was truly a special treat.
