Toastmasters Meeting Recap of May 1st Hybrid Meeting
At our May 1st hybrid meeting, we celebrated what makes our club truly special where every single attendee gets a chance to speak, whether they join us in person or from anywhere in the world.

The highlight of the evening was our Mother’s Day–themed Table Topics.
Each participant shared a story, a memory, or a small moment with their mother - some tender and some funny.. We also heard how each person plans to celebrate Mother’s Day this year. It was a beautiful reminder that public speaking is not just about speeches; it’s about connection, presence, and shared stories.

If you’ve been thinking about improving your communication skills, building confidence, or simply finding a supportive community where your voice matters, this is your invitation.

Today we had a wonderful online meeting filled with energy, creativity, and a touch of winter magic. Two guests joined us and jumped right into the fun, especially during our snow‑themed Table Topics session. Their enthusiasm added a great spark to the meeting.

Our Grammarian, Joyce, introduced the Word of the Day: Umpteen, which members used with flair throughout the session.

A special moment of celebration went to Toastmaster Sangeeta Kumtakar, our Area Contest winner. The club cheered her on as she prepares to compete at the Division F level in March. A well‑deserved spotlight for her hard work and dedication.
Overall, it was a warm and engaging meeting with the winter theme.

Our next Hybrid style meeting will be held on March 7th, 2026.
