On February 18th, attorney Ryann Siclari covered the basics of powers of attorney, guardianship, and essential legal planning for adults and families as part of Colorful Dreams Cares' Speaker Series. Ryann explains what powers of attorney are, when guardianship becomes necessary, and why planning ahead protects loved ones and preserves decision-making dignity. The session emphasizes getting key documents in place before a crisis, understanding the difference between financial and medical decision-making authority, and knowing when to seek professional legal help.
