We are optimistic that the EW PAL Lacrosse season will start on April 1 and continue to plan for success. Along the way we will continue to keep everyone updated as the winter progresses.
With the success of the soccer and baseball programs in the COVID environment at EWPAL along with other outdoor based athletic activities, Lacrosse plans to return this spring and operate in accordance with appropriate state and federal guidelines for COVID-19. While no sport is 100% risk free, Lacrosse, as an outdoor sport played on a large field, can provide a lower risk environment and exciting way to enjoy youth sports.
EW PAL and the lacrosse program are working on establishing guidelines/procedures for practices and games. As the season gets closer, we will begin to communicate in more detail.
While we've lost our ability to hold indoor clinic this winter, we anticipate that our fields will be ready on April 1. The first two weeks of our season will be practices only and will be open to prospective and new players.
EWPAL Lacrosse can assist any new players through borrowing equipment if they don’t have the necessary gear. If you're new to the game, you'll want to be sure to stop by the EW PAL complex and get fitted for some of the more expensive equipment items that have been donated to our program (Date To Be Announced). Quantities will be limited per player to ensure the maximum participation in our community.
The most important part of lacrosse is your participation. East Windsor has long enjoyed a vibrant and exciting youth lacrosse program and is one of our best subscribed community events. Our players look forward to our year end picnic all season long.
Considering the headwinds with COVID restrictions, we're asking you to register now, and contact friends and teammates and encourage them to register. Dues won’t payable until 2/28. If the season does get cancelled, all registration fees will be returned.
REGISTER NOW and we'll see you on April 1 for practice.
