IRVA - International Remote Viewing Association

IRVA - International Remote Viewing Association IRVA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the responsible use and development of RV

Remote viewing is a novel perceptual discipline for gaining information not available to the ordinary physical senses. Used extensively by so-called "psychic spies" during the Cold War for classified military projects, it has a long history both as an intelligence gathering tool and as the subject of research and applications in the civilian world.

IRVA Annual Conference 2026. Dayton, Ohio. October 1–4.

In 1975, the federal money behind remote viewing research dried up, and the whole effort was close to finished. It survived because a civilian analyst at Wright-Patterson named Dale Graff talked Air Force intelligence into picking up the funding. Graff then built his own viewing cell on the base, and one of his viewers located a downed Soviet reconnaissance plane in Africa. The Fort Meade unit came after that.

Graff is speaking in October. So are Paul Smith and Lyn Buchanan, who both viewed for the Army unit at Fort Meade. Rizwan Virk of MIT, who wrote The Simulation Hypothesis. Stephen K. Hayes, the martial artist who brought the ninja traditions to the West, on the mental discipline this work asks of you. And lots more — the full lineup is on our website.

You don't need a military background to attend. Some people show up having never tried it, and nobody's going to make them feel out of place. Four days of new data, practical demos, and a room full of people who find this as interesting as you do.

Thursday 3pm through Sunday 2pm. Get your spot at http://irva.org/irva-conference.

What if you could unlock the next frontier of human perception?

🧠✨This October 1–4, the International Remote Viewing Association invites you to the IRVA Annual Conference 2026 in Dayton, Ohio.

Whether you are an enthusiast, a researcher, or completely new to the field, this is your perfect entry point into the science of nonlocal perception.

Our schedule is packed with professional, deeply insightful data presentations from world-class researchers and Stargate program veterans. But more than that, an IRVA conference is a place to connect. It is a wonderful space to step out of the lab, escape the screen, and enjoy making lifelong new friends who share your curiosity about the mind.

You don't need a background in espionage to attend - just an open mind. You will find an incredibly welcoming community ready to share its knowledge and invite you into the conversation.
