Once again, we are being blessed with abundant food supplies for our Chuck Wagon food market. And we have so much gratitude to the Lord and to those who donate to our ministry. So, thank you to Costco, Martin's Market, Plaza Superjet, Swire Coca Cola, Weinstein Beverage, Crunch Pack, Blakal Potatoes, Central Bean, Bimbo Bakery, Griggs and Son, Target, Mission Tortillas, and Little Debbies, I hope I'm not missing anyone.

We are also grateful to the generous people who contribute money on our page and our website: chuckwagonministries.org. Our organization is unique in that no one is paid a salary, we are all volunteers--so 100% of your donation goes to operating expenses such as fuel, repairs, and supplies! We are good stewards standing before God in accountability. Would you consider donating a little bit to help so many people?

It was a beautiful day at the Chuck Wagon Ministries free food market at King's Harvest Church today. Lots of happy people, everyone seemed to get as much food as they could carry. The sun was out and the weather co-operated before the storm hit. There was also a lot of fruit; physical and spiritual. I have included some pictures for you to see, perhaps they will give you some sense of the nature of this event. It was wonderful--there's really nothing like it in our region, come and see. All are welcome.

In our Saturday morning Chuck Wagon free food market at King's Harvest Church, there will be an abundance of food...again! Strawberries, grapes, and "Lunchables" snack boxes are featured as our "specials" because of the large quantities. There will also be our usual items of potatoes, onions, pinto beans, bread, dairy, and other vegetables. There should be enough for everyone to get what they want. And there will be hotdogs on the barby, live music, and some folks getting baptized. It's going to be a great day! See you there, we miss you!

En nuestro mercado de comida gratuita Chuck Wagon del sábado por la mañana en la Iglesia Kings' Harvest, habrá una abundancia de comida... ¡otra vez! Fresas, uvas y cajas de bocadillos "Lunchables" se destacan como nuestros "especiales" debido a las grandes cantidades. También habrá nuestros artículos habituales de papas, cebollas, frijoles pintos, pan, lácteos y otras verduras. Debería haber suficiente para que todos obtengan lo que quieren. One more thing, we are saved by faith in Christ alone--therefore we go through the waters of baptism. Since we are new creations in Christ, the old man (old self) must be put to death with Christ. In baptism, His death becomes our death. We are to leave our old "life" behind to "live" our new life in Christ. This decision is vital to a successful life as a Christian. Therefore, baptism completes our "new reality." Hallelujah!

Just as there are "some people" we need to leave behind because they want to pull us back to our old life before Christ, we must leave behind our old self because that "old man" wants to drag us back to who we used to be! The old man HAS TO DIE, for the new man to be successful. This is why infant baptism is not biblical, nor effective. Baptism is real, therefore choose it!
Ok, I'm done-- now it's up to you.

Una cosa más, somos salvados por la fe en Cristo solamente, por lo tanto pasamos por las aguas del bautismo. Como somos nuevas criaturas en Cristo, el hombre viejo (el antiguo yo) debe ser mu**to con Cristo. En el bautismo, Su muerte se convierte en nuestra muerte. Debemos dejar atrás nuestra vieja "vida" para "vivir" nuestra nueva vida en Cristo. Esta decisión es vital para una vida exitosa como cristiano. Por lo tanto, el bautismo completa nuestra "nueva realidad." ¡Aleluya!

Así como hay "algunas personas" que necesitamos dejar atrás porque quieren arrastrarnos de vuelta a nuestra vieja vida antes de Cristo, debemos dejar atrás nuestro viejo yo porque ese "hombre viejo" quiere arrastrarnos de vuelta a lo que solíamos ser. ¡El hombre viejo TIENE QUE MORIR, para que el hombre nuevo tenga éxito! Esta es la razón por la que el bautismo infantil no es bíblico, ni efectivo. El bautismo es real, ¡por lo tanto elígelo! Bien, ya terminé, ahora depende de ti.

Sometimes I'd like to talk about something other than food distribution, so please allow me a few minutes to discuss baptism. Unfortunately, in many places it's become a ritual--when it is SO MUCH MORE than that. Something "real" happens to us as we go through the waters of baptism! We die with Him, to our "old life" and live with Him in His resurrection and we are "dead" to sin and walk in the newness of life! Hallelujah!

Romans 6:3-6: Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

A veces me gustaría hablar de algo que no sea la distribución de alimentos, así que por favor permítanme unos minutos para hablar sobre el bautismo. Desafortunadamente, en muchos lugares se ha convertido en un ritual cuando ES MUCHO MÁS que eso. ¡Algo real nos sucede al pasar por las aguas del Bautismo! ¡Morimos con Él, a nuestra "vida antigua" y vivimos con Él en Su resurrección, y estamos "mu**tos" al pecado y caminamos en la novedad de la vida! ¡Aleluya!

Romanos 6:3-6: ¿O no sabéis que todos los que hemos sido bautizados en Cristo Jesús, hemos sido bautizados en su muerte? Por tanto, somos sepultados con Él mediante el bautismo en la muerte, para que, así como Cristo resucitó de entre los mu**tos por la gloria del Padre, también nosotros andemos en nueva vida. Porque si hemos sido unidos a Él en la semejanza de su muerte, ciertamente también lo seremos en la semejanza de su resurrección, sabiendo esto, que nuestro viejo hombre fue crucificado con Él, para que el cuerpo del pecado sea destruido, y no sirvamos más al pecado.

At our Chuck Wagon free food market this Saturday at King's Harvest Church, we will be baptizing some believers into the Kingdom of Heaven! The baptisms will happen just prior to the food market opening, about 10:30am, and it will happen in the parking lot of the Church. Have you ever wanted to get baptized? Have you given your life to Jesus? Are you committed to following Him as your Lord and Savior? If you've decided to follow Jesus and given your life to Him and want to be baptized, wear shorts and a shirt, bring a towel, and probably a change of clothes and we'll baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

En nuestro mercado de comida gratuita Chuck Wagon este sábado en King's Harvest Church, ¡bautizaremos a algunos creyentes en el Reino de los Cielos! Los bautismos se realizarán justo antes de la apertura del mercado de comida, alrededor de las 10:30 a.m., y serán en el estacionamiento de la iglesia. ¿Alguna vez has querido ser bautizado? ¿Has entregado tu vida a Jesús? ¿Estás comprometido a seguirlo como tu Señor y Salvador?
