Tomorrow is supposed to be another nice day for the Chuck Wagon free food market at King's Harvest Church, we look forward to having another successful event. Someone recently asked me, "How do you pay for all of this?" We can only keep it going with donations from people who think this is a good cause. Our costs are very reasonable: diesel fuel, insurance, truck maintenance, hot dogs, and we have some food costs (not everything we give away is donated). And... there are no employees, only volunteers that are likeminded believers serving the Lord. We can do more together! What do you think? Come check it out, everyone is welcome.

An old saying: You can't see the forest because of the trees!

Life in the Wenatchee Valley is pretty good for most of the residents. Yes, we complain about high gas prices, and food prices are also rising, but things can get worse. Let's look around; we are at war with a terrorist regime in the Middle East, we have a $40 trillion debt, and most other countries also have a debt crisis. We are a divided people, there are other countries collapsing from within, and there are wars and rumors of wars. The Bible says things are going to get a lot worse! There's going to be more war, famines, earthquakes, pestilences, and disease. It will take a day's wages to buy a quart of barley. Retirement accounts and pensions will be meaningless. You could say were in the lull before the storm.

A watchman on the wall would say... it's time to get right with Jesus! In the middle of the chaos, there will be the hope of Jesus' return. In the meantime, the Church is "to be" who we are called to be, and we are to be "doing" what Jesus did. Food ministry is going to become more important, especially when used in connection with telling people the good news in the storm. Chuck Wagon Ministries is built to last in difficult times; low overhead, all volunteers, and the church coming together under its umbrella. It's a great place for Christians to volunteer, you can make it your ministry too! Is it time to check us out?

Tomorrow is Chuck Wagon free food market at King's Harvest Church! You can feel fall in the air, the hot days of summer are gone, but we are pressing forward into a new season! We've got our new cold room up and running and we are excited about the future.

I want to thank all of our food donors for their generosity; without them this would not be possible. Please consider praying for the Lord to bless them for giving--and pray for this ministry that our food supplies will continue. It's easy to see how food prices going up could affect our future supplies. Our Lord told us to ask and it shall be given, seek and we shall find, and knock and the doors will be opened. We're going to need additional supplies--so please join with us in prayer because our God is the God who supplies!

In our Chuck Wagon free food market at King's Harvest Church, it's going to be another beautiful day! We have lots of food, hotdogs on the grill, and wall to wall sunshine. And we've been getting a lot of attention from around the region, so we're expecting more people every week. If you know anyone that could use some food help during these high prices for food, please tell them about us.

But don't forget to tell them that we are not a regular food bank, we are doing all for the glory of the Lord! We pray for people and occasionally we play live worship music, so if this offends some people... they can go to another food bank where someone will ask them for ID and hand them a premade food box!

I've included some pictures of our new cold storage on the grounds of the church. I want to thank Matt at Budget Heating and Cooling and King's Harvest Church for making this possible.

¡En nuestro mercado de comida gratis Chuck Wagon en la iglesia King's Harvest, va a ser otro día hermoso! Tenemos mucha comida, hot dogs en la parrilla y sol por todos lados. Y hemos estado recibiendo mucha atención de toda la región, así que esperamos más gente cada semana. This Saturday, at our Chuck Wagon free food market at King's Harvest Church, it's going to be a beautiful sunny day with comfortable temperatures--we hope you decide to attend. Once again there should be plenty of food and hotdogs on the barbeque!

Our new cold room at King's Harvest Church is almost complete. The electrical and insulation are finished, and the refrigeration installation will be over the next 5 days. I want to give a shoutout to Raul Flores (Roy) for all the hard work he's done to make this a reality including lining the walls, helping with insulation, electrical, and sealing the floors.

Our current cold room can only hold 12-14 pallets, but our new facility will allow us to cool over 30 pallets! This will give us more options to continue to meet the needs of this growing ministry. Food will become more and more important in the days ahead, and we will be well positioned to glorify the Lord with loaves and fishes. Thank you, Jesus!

Este sábado, en nuestro mercado gratuito de comida Chuck Wagon en la Iglesia King's Harvest, va a ser un día hermoso y soleado con temperaturas agradables, ¡esperamos que decidas asistir! Una vez más, debería haber mucha comida y hot dogs a la parrilla.

Nuestra nueva cámara frigorífica en la Iglesia King's Harvest está casi terminada. Today's Chuck Wagon free food market was a special day; the sun was shining, there was lots of food, there were lots of people (250-300), and everyone seemed to be happy they came. I have included a couple testimonies for your viewing. Thank you for following us, if you haven't yet--please do so.

This Saturday, the Chuck Wagon free food market at King's Harvest Church is going to be another "humdinger!" We've gathered lots of food (12,000-14,000 pounds) so everyone should receive an abundance from the Lord.

Someone at the market recently said, "At other food banks you only get what they give you, but here we get what we need!" That's why we call it a "free food market" instead of a food bank because people get to load up with what they want to feed their families.

This Saturday, the weather is going to be beautiful, we will serve hotdogs on the grill, and there's lots of food for everyone. If you know anyone that needs some food help with the cost of living continuing to go up, tell them to come and check it out. They'll be glad they came--and we'll even pray for God's blessings on their lives!

Este sábado, el mercado de alimentos gratuitos Chuck Wagon en la Iglesia King's Harvest será otro "espectáculo". Hemos reunido mucha comida (12,000-14,000 libras), ¡así que todos deberían recibir una abundancia del Señor!

In our Saturday Chuck Wagon free food market at King's Harvest Church, the power went out in the building...so we set up outdoors for the first time. The weather forecast was for rain--but no rain came. Some people will say, "They got lucky it didn't rain!" I believe it was a "blessing" it didn't rain, there was no "lucky" about it. We must understand as believers in Christ, we don't believe in "luck" because our lives are led by the Lord! The word of God says, all things, whether good or bad, will work out for our good because He's in charge of our lives. How comforting is that?

Everyone was blessed with as much food as they could pack to their cars. If you haven't seen what going on at the Chuck Wagon free food market, please take this as a personal invitation, "Come and see!"
