Orphans Going To School for the First Time!
It was a very exciting morning for 30 orphans we took in from the streets this year, as they headed to school for the first time ever. They joined our other 25 orphans at Caring and Sharing Children's Home in Pakistan that we have been sponsoring the last six years. It will definitely be a wonderful life changing experience for these orphans who faced a life trapped in poverty.

Help Orphans Attend School for the First Time!

We are seeking support for sending 55 orphans from Caring & Sharing Children’s Home in Pakistan to school. Of these we are seeking new support for 30 street orphans we have taken in this year, to be newly admitted to school for the first time, while also providing essential new school supplies and personal items to 25 orphans who we are already enabling to attend school.

Without Orphan’s Hope partners, these children would not be able to attend school and would grow up illiterate. 35% of children in Pakistan cannot attend school because of poverty. That is over 25 million children. Let’s care for these orphans and get them in school.

Specific Needs:
• Initial admission fees for the 30 new orphans. Need $1200
• For school supplies and uniforms, it will cost about $37 a child. Need $2000
• School fees are $20- $25 a month per child.
For 55 orphans we need a total of $1250/month. (Monthly donors needed)

Life has become very difficult in our country of Myanmar due to war. Many families around us are struggling to provide even basic food for their loved ones. In the midst of these challenges, we thank God for His constant goodness and faithfulness through partners like you.

We are deeply grateful for your vital support for our children's home. As you can see, we have a lot of children and because of your generosity, I can say our children are doing well. They are receiving regular, nutritious meals, proper medical care, and the attention they need to grow in good health, physically and spiritually. Our youngest children are also receiving the nutrition essentials for their development.

As house parents, we sincerely thank you for your faithful commitment. We understand that it is not easy to give consistently in these times, yet your support continues to bring hope and stability to these children we serve. We truly see God's great working through your kindness.

Esther Moe is 21 years old now. She came to Garden Home when she was only 3 years old, suffering from tuberculosis (TB). Because of her illness, she was unable to walk. Through God’s grace, good medical care, and a year of TB treatment, Esther’s health improved significantly.

Tragically, Esther lost both of her parents during Cyclone Nargis in May 2008. Since then, GH has become her home, where she has been loved, cared for, and supported throughout her childhood and youth, thanks to the support of partners like you.

Today, we are grateful to share that Esther has successfully completed high school. Despite the many challenges she has faced in life, she remains strong in her faith and hopeful for the future.
Esther has a deep desire to grow closer to God and serve Him.

Your love, prayers, and generous support have played an important role in Esther’s journey. Because of your kindness, she has been given opportunities for education, care, and spiritual growth. As she takes the next step toward Bible school, we ask for your continued prayers and support as she purses God’s calling on her life.

Our staff in Ukraine are having an excellent time with kids in a Kyiv orphanage. They have had great conversations about Jesus, faith, and freedom. Some children shared that, to them, freedom means living in a family - something they deeply miss and long for. Others said that work and money bring freedom. Some also came to understand that God loves them, walks with them through life, and offers true freedom. It was a joy to see them express a desire to follow Him.

Please pray for the children we are serving and for their journey with God. We have a great ministry encouraging and loving these children. Thank you for your prayers and support!

Orphan's Hope staff wrote last month: "Today it was a really great time. All the children and teenagers were very happy. We talked with everyone about Jesus and their faith, gave them some wonderful gifts celebrating Easter including kids' Bibles, sowed good seeds and prayed for a loving family for every kid."

Pray for our staff as they continue this important work, even while bombs are falling on their city.

The Life of a Street Orphan
Seeing God’s Love and Healing
This is the story of Ahtsham, a 9-year-old street orphan in Pakistan… a child with no home, no family, and no one to protect him.

When our team first found him, he was crouched beside a pile of garbage, picking through rotten scraps with his small hands, trying desperately to find something he could eat. It felt as if the world had forgotten him—his hunger, his pain, and even his life seemed to matter to no one. Ahtsham’s body was weak. His eyes were lifeless. His stomach was so sick that he vomited whenever he tried to eat the scraps. He sat alone… with no one to comfort him, no one to clean him, and no one to love him.

But because of caring partners like you, we are making a real difference.
We saw not a forgotten child—
but a precious boy whom God loves and wants to redeem.

Over the past five months, along with 30 other street orphans, we have:

Provided a nutritious meal every day
Given the medical care he urgently needed
Bathed him with care and dignity
Clothed him in clean clothes
Shared the good news that God loves him deeply
Prayed with him and for him
Surrounded him with compassion he had never known
Slowly, his body began to heal… and so did his heart.

Today, when you look into Ahtsham’s eyes, you see a brightness that wasn’t there before. Hope is growing where there was once only despair.

A Heartbreaking Reality — and a God‑Sized Opportunity
What started out as a feeding program for street orphans from a small compound has changed to an urgent cry of compassion that we must do more. We now desperately want to bring these 30 children—boys and girls—into a safe, loving home where they can grow up with God’s love, proper care, education, and a future filled with hope.

The orphanage is small and completely full so we have had no room to house them. The reality of taking in 30 street orphans is also not simple with all that is involved. It has been heartbreaking that every evening at 10:00 p.m., they have had to return to the street. We have been impressed this must change and have a fresh vision that with our donors we can give these dear children a home.

The Need:

$20,000 to purchase a connected parcel of land
$80,000 to build an additional home for the children

And then a double Breakthrough! —something incredible happened as God was impressing this on our hearts last week.

An unexpected donation of $24,000 arrived on Friday—right as we were discussing, praying, and writing this update!

We believe it is God’s timely provision for these children for the land!

(Then after sending out this update… A wonderful donor called moved with compassion. She is willing to match up $40K for others to join!)
