We have some good news coming soon. Not exactly everything we hoped for but every step is progress. We haven’t forgotten our afghan allies and we hope you guys are still following the situation out there. It’s heartbreaking to see how this is unfolding but we’re trying to help at least a few people find a way to safety.

The Taliban have been targeting thousands of Afghan National Army soldiers and police officers, accusing them of being American spies.

We are rapidly approaching our deadline to submit our financial sponsorship for our family of 10.

This means we need your continued support-how can you help? We are looking for individuals, groups, businesses etc, who are willing to pledge support for them once they get here. We are very close to the finish line, please feel free to message us about how to get involved!

We are still looking for partners willing to assist with sponsoring a family of 10. This family has assisted in spreading democracy through the father’s occupation and also is very closely related to interpreters as others who assisted ISAF. If you or someone you know are interested in helping them start their new lifes in the US, please message the page or email us at [email protected]

Hi everyone- we are not marketing experts and I think the link to donate limited our last posts visibility.

We are currently, and have been working with several families in various situations. The family of 10- (Mom, Dad and 8 kids ranging from 10-22) are pending final review to be allowed entry into the US.

Immigration needs to verify that we can support them until they are self sufficient and capable of supporting themselves. We have until March to provide Immigration proof that we can support them for up to a year. This comes to about $5,300 a month. We have already had several very generous supporters pledge monthly support totaling over $1,000 a month!!! (Thank you)

We are still looking for individuals, families, groups, businesses, sports leagues, ANYONE, who is willing to step up and say they can help with a monthly donation until they are self sufficient.

If you are interested please message the page or email us at [email protected]. What do you get from this? Besides having the privilege of being able to say that a family who assisted the US in our darkest hours, that stood up for democracy and freedom are NOT forgotten... we will add you to our email list, provide you updates on their status, let you know when they arrive so you can start your monthly donations, provide updated pictures as they settle into the US, and give you monthly status updates on their adjustment. If you join our campaign to support them your monthly donation will totally go to support them and not be used for anything else.

If you can't commit to a monthly donation we are still accepting donations by either the link in our previous post or by mail. These donations will assist with our other families or the initial transportation and set up for our family of 10. Our Board Members pay almost all of our operating expenses, take no salaries and have been working long hours to make this happen, but we need your help! We are also a 501(c)(3) organization.

We apologize for the lack of updates, however we have fantastic news!
We have just received word that the United States Customs and Immigration Services want to review our finances in order to ensure we are fully capable of sponsoring our biggest family. Prior to their entry to the US, we must show that we can financially support them until they are fully settled and self-sufficient. This can typically take up to a year.
We had really slowed down on fundraising due to lack of forward movement on the statuses of any of our families. We could only sit back and wait while increased processing times made our mission seem further and further out of reach. Our goal has always been to support families upon arrival to the US.
Fundraising efforts are now in full-force because humanitarian parole is on the horizon for one of our families! We also have a second family who we have learned UNHCR is relocating to a safe country and will need just a little support as they resettle. Due to both families still being within striking distance of the Taliban, we are not disclosing specific information about their identities. Hopefully we will have reuinion pictures and their full stories soon!
Here are a few ways you can help: first and foremost like and share our posts! If you are able to donate, we are a Federally registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your donations are tax deductible. Checks can be mailed directly to our PO Box. If it is easier for you, we are in the process of setting up a Gofundme account but they do take a small fee. It should be live in a few days. Our PayPal link will be below. I think PayPal fees are the same as Gofundme. We are also looking for sustaining donations from individuals who would like to specifically assist them upon arrival. In that case we are just looking for letters that explain what type of support you can provide. If you would like to be a sustaining donor please contact the page through messenger, or email us at [email protected] and we can go over the details with you.
Please know that we as an organization have almost zero overhead costs, we don’t receive salaries, we work out of our homes, and our members pay out of pocket for a lot of our expenses. Your money is going directly to help these families make it to safety and resettle. They supported our people during the war and we can’t just forget about them!

If the groups you are working with are currently in Pakistan, but in the process of applying for a US Visa-DoS has released letters to them verifying their applicant status to the Pakistani government which should secure them from deportation.

Thankfully the primary group we are sponsoring received their letters today.

As usual this is a mess.

The Pakistani government gave 1.7 million Afghan refugees living in the country until Nov. 1 to leave voluntarily or face arrest and forced deportation.

This has been an incredibly long 2 years, much longer for our allies who were left behind.

We are still navigating the process and working behind the scenes. You are not forgotten.

***Update to Humanitarian Parole***

USCIS has updated favorable ratings for Humanitarian Parole.

These new factors include; if the applicant has family in the US who immigrated on an SIV, if the applicant was not eligible for a P1, P2 or SIV through administrative rules, if the applicant supported the broader US mission in Afghanistan.

If your working with your own groups pay attention to your mail. For the group we are sponsoring- their family is working quickly to get documents uploaded.

We haven’t been actively fundraising due to the total uncertainty of the process, but we are really hoping to be able to say our sponsees will be wheels up this year and start pushing fundraising.

Thanks for all your continued support and we look forward to providing positive updates soon!

***Just an advisory**** If you or a group you are trying to assist is currently in Islamabad please stay safe and stay low. There are rumors the Pakistani government is cutting/limiting internet access and social media. Signal and Viber should still be functioning.

Two days after Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan was arrested by an anti-graft agency on corruption charges, the Supreme Court ordered his immediate release on Thursday, calling his arrest 'unlawful' and 'illegal'. The court ordered the PTI chief to be present before the Islamabad High Cou...
