🔥🍔🍗🥗 Join us for Develop Iosco’s Q2 Community Meeting & BBQ! 🥗🍗🍔🔥

We’re excited to welcome Charles Donaldson, Managing Director for Regional Development, and Pablo Majano, Senior Community Planner, from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) as our featured speakers.

Chuck works with communities across Northern Michigan to strengthen partnerships and advance economic development projects, while Pablo provides technical assistance and planning support to communities throughout Michigan through MEDC’s Redevelopment Ready Communities program.

Just a reminder that the Sunrise Side Child Care Coalition's Child Care Needs Assessment Survey for the Plainfield Township area is due on May 31!

We need your input to learn more about employers and employees needs about this important topic. Please click on the link below, or follow the QR code, to take the survey online.

For paper copies, please visit Eagle Point Plaza in Hale. We look forward to sharing the results of the survey with the community this summer!

📣 Develop Iosco, as lead facilitator for the Sunrise Side Regional Child Care Coalition, is now seeking proposals for a Funders Collaborative Facilitator to help launch a new regional partnership focused on long-term child care investment across Northeast Michigan.

This project will bring together community foundations, philanthropic leaders, businesses, and regional partners to build a shared funding roadmap supporting child care solutions in our communities.

The selected contractor will lead stakeholder outreach, listening sessions, and facilitate the inaugural collaborative meeting, helping align regional partners around future funding opportunities and strategies.

📅 Proposal Deadline: Friday, May 22, 2026 at 4:00 PM EST
