U.S. v Skmetti. 6-3. Kkkristians win.
But not unexpected. This Court is not LGBT friendly. But at least there is no marriage case until next term.
Amy Coney Barrett really went further than necessary and really hit the Trans community hard opening up the door for states to enact more anti-trans legislation.

Our May Meetup will be a stroll / lite hike through the Kurmes Nature Preserve in Cresco. The hike is a relatively flat loop and an easy walk, but sturdy shoes are still recommended to navigate some uneven surface. Following the approximately hour-long hike we’ll end with a pizza lunch provided by PALS.

For the last several years I have been facilitating a program that I created titled “The Sage Exchange”. It is a workshop for senior gay men that covers issues like legal concerns (estate and financial planning) housing (Independent living, Goden G**s Living, Social Housing, Rainbow Living, Assisted Living, Nursing Home residency), Relationships (Monogamy, Ethical Non-Monogamy, Polyamory, Friends With Benefits, F**k Buddies) health (fitness, balance, Andropause, BPH), and s*x (Self-love, PrEp, PEP, Disco Dosing, Mature Erotic Generosity).
I have also conducted smaller presentations on Andropause (Male Menopause). Part of that presentation was included in a larger week-long workshop in Merida, Mexico, with Il Chiostro, called “Gay Men and the Art of Aging Gracefully”. I have now been asked to speak on how to have a successful retirement by someone who coordinates workshops for men all over the world who said, “You have had the most productive retirement. You have to tell people how it’s done.”
In preparation for this new workshop, I began with the Ars Moriendi. Written in the 1400s by the Catholic Church, detailing the “art of dying”. I then explored the Italian Ars Vivendi (the art of living) and Ars Senescendi (the art of aging).
Many men try to mask or ignore aging and that is not helpful or healthy. Aging needs to be faced, addressed, celebrated and owned. The decision should be to not just be a Daddy, but to be a Zaddy. (I’ll give you time to Google Zaddy.) LOL. Actually, for those who don’t know, a Zaddy, is an older gentleman who is fashionable, aware, erudite, charismatic, stylish, self-confident, and charming. Strive to be that guy.
If this workshop is something that you would consider, participating in or hosting (near or far, as I have lots of frequent flier miles to use), please feel free to contact me and perhaps “Who’s Your Zaddy?” will be something that you experience this year. (There are tentative 2025 events planned for Plainfield, New Jersey; Greenwich, NY; Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Berlin, Germany.)

The PALS August Meetup Picnic today is still on . . . Rain or shine. We will be at the Famous Luna Parc Art Studio in Sandyston, NJ August 18th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM . . . the home and studio of madcap artist Ricky Boscarino.

Please remember that this will be a picnic outing, not a potluck, so pack all of your food and drink. We have a tent and the house / museum is open for tours (donation suggested).
