Steamtown NHS is offering a trip from the national park in Scranton down to the festival as an all day affair! We encourage anyone who still wants a train ride to look into getting tickets for this train.

It’s that time of year again and we’re excited to be offering a train ride once again with our partners at Iron Horse Society for the Pickle Festival on September 26th!

SPEEDERS

This Saturday, August 22nd, the tower will be open to the public from 12pm-2pm for the NARCOA Speeders group to stop by and visit. Enjoy one of railroadings more unique parts here in East Stroudsburg.

DONATIONS AT WORK!

Over the day we had a contractor come in and refinish our floors in the tower.

We hope to have the tower ready and open for August 22nd when the NARCOA speeder group comes to East Stroudsburg.

Throwback Tuesday brings us to the 1930s with a streamlined 4-6-2 bringing a passenger train into town past our tower. Note the removed wing skirting on the locomotive.
