Volunteers continue to do good work. We’ve begun replacing some of the old conduit to accommodate another conduit pipe going upstairs for future wiring expansion from the breaker box downstairs. After work is done, we will have 2 pipes to use to bring wires upstairs.

Well, with snow blanketing everything and still no heat in the tower, we thought it was time to modernize our website a little bit.

Memberships can now be purchased on our website!! This will streamline our membership applications and help us keep track of dues.
We thank everyone for their patience in years past with mail-in memberships and hope this helps you as much as it helps us.

A BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PLUG.



As simply a John Doe member, in no official capacity, it's the time of year where I toot the horn, ring the bell, and blow the whistle telling the two thousand + member of this FB Page that they should rejoin the Tower Society and also become a member of the Delaware Lackawanna and Western Railroad Historical Society. If your interested in the Lackawanna RR then the DL&WHS is ALSO for you. Their publication. THE ROUSTABOUT, comes out four times a year. They have and annual Banquet / Symposium, and I'm told some additional smaller events are in the works for this coming year.

I know firsts hand the next issue of the Roustabout will have a major detailed article involving never before published information on paint schemes worn by DL&W F Units, which will be of great interest to modelers. Joining can be done via their Web Site.

Thank you, everyone, for another great year here in East Stroudsburg. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

2025 was by far the best year on record, work-wise, and one of the highest, if not the highest, visitor-wise. We can’t wait to see everyone in 2026 and look forward to doing more events next year.

Work hasn't stopped at the tower yet! Wall painting was done this past weekend and the locker was worked on and placed on a dolly for ease of movement. Can't wait to show the final results at our last open house on December 1st!
