SAM - Save A Mom Pregnant Dog Rescue

10/17/2026

We love that Rory has come this far since being adopted from Save a Mom. Her family went through some trying times with her at the beginning with separation anxiety but with patience and training to find what worked best for her ,she is now an excellent dog who gets to ride the Bus!🙂

Check out our adult dogs we currently have available on the website www.saveamomrescue.com
We currently do not have puppies listed as most of our litters are bottle babies and will not be ready to go for a few weeks.

Meet Sugar 💕 💕

We weren't sure if this girl would ever be ready for adoption,. She came in last November due to whelp pups at any time. She was a livestock guardian dog and her family loved her, so no negative comments. She lived on their farm with the male dog and took care of the livestock, especially their goats. They never intended for her to have to find another home, but one of the family members became ill.
When she came in she was very fearful and very intimidating to my volunteers. We took it slow with her and I figured she would just end up living her life with me. But with time she has become the favorite and is making great progress in preparing for a new home.

Sugar is a 2 yrs old purebred Great Pyrenees. She grew up around all types of farm animals and although would no doubt adjust to house life I think would love to find a family that has some farm animals and allows her to go to the barn when they are doing chores. She needs a fenced yard (no exceptions). This girl loves to lay out in the yard and just watch the world go by. She is very intelligent and just needs a family to give her time to settle in and you will see her personality come out.
Her adoption fee is $400. All of her vetcare is current.

Hannah (black) and Holly (brown) need your help ❤️ ❤️ Please share

Their owner had to go into an assisted living facility and unfortunately no family member is able to take them. They will be 8 yrs old this month and current on all of their vet care. Both are a little overweight but should be in the 55-60 pound range after their diet!

They would really benefit from a fenced yard. They love to roam around the yard and lay in the sun. Both are housebroken, ride in the car ok and listen well. They lived with 2 cats, although they do want to chase the cats here at the rescue. So not sure if they co-existed together in the house or not.

They just want a loving home to live out their senior years.

We will work out a very low adoption fee with an approved adopter.

Fill out an application @ www.saveamomrescue.com and be sure to let your vet know we will be calling for a reference.
