Three Village Chamber Players (3VCP) provides free chamber music performances for communities around Long Island. 3VCP is a Musicivic organization.

Three Village Chamber Players (3VCP) strives to be an essential source of artistry in Suffolk County and surrounding areas by embedding music performances in spaces that are central to the community. Rather than summoning audiences to designated concert halls, 3VCP is an organization defined by its immersion in the community. Our concerts bring a diverse audience together and contribute to buildin

g the exuberance of the local arts scene. Our mission is to enrich our community through artistic excellence, providing free musical performances of the highest caliber to the public. With innovative programming, educational outreach, and live performance in both traditional and alternative venues, we strive to enhance the cultural vibrancy of our beautiful community. The Three Village Chamber Players craft performances to be personal, interactive, and relevant. We share a wide range of music, from historically informed masterworks to commissioned works from living, local composers. Since May 2020, 3VCP has been offering weekly online concerts, called Musicasts, featuring musical content created uniquely for the digital space. Musicasts can be accessed through a free ticket reservation on our Eventbrite page and enjoyed from the comfort of your home. Three Village Chamber Players is a Musicivic organization, an incubator for local professional chamber music organizations. We collaborate with our sister community organizations - currently Ambler Musicivic, Twin Forks Musicivic, Oakmont Musicivic, and Big Sky Musicivic - on our digital programming and platforms; this means we benefit from sharing programming and artistry with other community chamber music organizations, while remaining committed to the vitality of arts experiences in our home community, amplifying the work of local artists, and building a musical community in the Three Village area. Fundraising proceeds directly help to make the Three Village Chamber Players’ programming possible.

Early Music Fest is underway! Happening all weekend, the fest features five chamber music events over the course of three days. Events include an all-Bach program, music of the French, Italian, and German baroque era, and a spotlight on imaginative and lively crossovers between folk and early music.

Rebecca Nelson has played with period ensembles all over the East Coast, including Boston’s Handel Haydn Society and has performed works on gut strings ranging from Monteverdi operas to film music by Saint-Säens to the premiere of contemporary works. She is a member of Shanghai Camerata, one of China‘s very first period ensembles and she recently joined Nuova Practica, a troupe of modern baroque composers and performers. Rebecca has started composing songs inspired by her love of both baroque and folk and is eager to lead her own projects that combine early music with visual art and film. Rebecca spends much of her time napping with her kitten Momo, singing Gillian Welch songs and shaking it to chaconnes like it’s 1669.

Join us this week (starting Sunday, 8/15 at 7pm) for a Musicast featuring Rebecca’s “Do Not Lament,” a program of original songs, folk, and early music.
