My name is Allie Beatty. Dip a Stick for Diabetes is my way of helping people avoid the pitfalls of late diabetes detection by knowing your diabetes status. In 1st grade, I told my best friend I wanted to "marry ice water". I was diagnosed with diabetes the following summer. In high school I started developing diabetes complications of the eyes and kidneys. I lived through a diabetic coma in colle

ge, and experienced kidney failure by the age of 30. Early diabetes detection reduces the risk of diabetes complications. Dip a Stick for Diabetes and empower yourself today.
