The Three Village Dad’s Foundation was established to facilitate the betterment of our local community. The 3VDF is a 501c3 org

Through the efforts of local residents, our goal is to develop and improve the community our families live and interact in.

The 3VDF hosted it’s 8th Annual Charity Golf Outing yesterday at Willow Creek Golf and Country Club. An amazing day for golf with an amazing turn out. Thank you to our sponsors of the event that made the day possible, Geometric Circuits as our Title Sponsor, Bagel Express & Guidice Contracting as our Green & Gold sponsors, Hendel Wealth Management Group, for our helicopter, DiCarlo Food Service for many of our sponsorships, and Team Patel at Douglas Elliman Real Estate for the dinner.

We made a huge announcement at the outing, the 3VDF has officially passed $500,000 donated! A huge accomplishment in just under 8 years of existence. That is thanks to everyone who has contributed, volunteered, and helped out in some way. We thank you all!

We look forward to working towards our next $500,000 and invite you all to be a part of that journey!

The 3VDF is honored to announce the opening of our annual scholarship application process!

We will be offering up to $10,000 in scholarship awards for any Three Village Central School District senior that is seeking to further themselves through college, trade school, or the military!
Special consideration will be given to (but not limited to) students seeking careers in fields that focus on service to their community and country such as…

Medical Field
Law Enforcement
First Responder
Military
Criminal Justice
Education

However ALL are encouraged to apply!

Additional attention will be focused on students who have demonstrated community service by completing volunteer hours.

🥫🥫3VDF Annual Food Drive🥫🥫

Great first day to kick off this years annual drive!! Thank you to our volunteers for standing outside Stop & Shop South Setauket today to collect this HUGE haul!

The Three Village Dads Foundation does this annually, dispersing all food and funds collected to the Three Village Central School District Food Pantry as well as the Food Pantry located at the St James Church East Setuaket.

Our next and final collection day will be October 4th at the Stop & Shop on 25a in Setauket. If you cannot make it but would like to contribute monetarily to our efforts, please see the methods below.

Yesterday the Three Village Dads Foundation was honored to be apart of a renaming ceremony of a local park in Port Jefferson. Gerard Reggio Park will take the place of Washington Ave Park, named after a local hero that died in Vietnam.

A fantastic account given by Gerard’s sister detailed how her and her bother grew up just a few houses away from park and enjoyed playing there as children.

The local Vietnamese community also attended in a show of solidarity and respect, and to say thank you to all that sacrificed in Vietnam for their families freedoms.

The Foundation was honored to cover the costs of the newly installed plaque and to attend such a worthy event.

We were honored to present $1000 scholarships to each of these fine young adults today. As they begin the next journey of their lives in becoming nurses, doctors, teachers, law enforcement officers, and other community orientated professions, we hope these funds make that path a bit easier. Each very well earned!

We are honored to announce this year’s recipients of a Three Village Dads Foundation Scholarship.

Last night both Ireland McGowan and Kalea Sinishtaj were awarded theirs at the annual Ward Melville scholarship night, the remaining 9 students will be notified later today (or if their parents see this post first 😉)

We had 49 applications this year, with VERY stiff competition amongst the entrants. But 11 soon to be nurses, teachers, and other future community servants will have a few extra bucks in their pockets as they begin the next chapter of their lives.

We thank everyone that applied and wish all the best of luck as they continue their journey!

To date, the 3VDF has awarded out over $40,000 in scholarships to our local graduating seniors. One of our proudest annual contributions! Thank you to all of our donors that make this possible!

Another amazing year in 2024 coupled with our first few large donations in 2025 and we have surpassed $400,000!! Now sitting at just over $425,000 donated since 2019, we are racing fast to half a million dollars!

Thank you thank you thank you to our donors, volunteers, and everyone that has contributed in some meaningful way. We could not do it without you all!

Today, the Three Village Dads Foundation presented a check for $5000 to the Long Island State Veterans Home. On the heels of our 7th Annual Golf Outing, we are honored to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our nations heroes. As we approach Memorial Day, it is important to recognize that our freedoms are built upon the sacrifices of those who served. This donation is more than just a check—it’s a symbol of our enduring commitment to those who gave so much for all of us.

This contribution wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, donors, and community partners who continue to stand beside us. Your generosity fuels our mission and makes moments like these a reality. Thank you for helping us honor, support, and uplift our veterans—not just on Memorial Day, but every day.
