The Arthur Johnson Foundation was established in 2001 by its Founder and Co-Founder Arthur and his wife Latanya Johnson. Arthur is a former 1988 Olympic boxer who became the first to capture 12 National titles a record that has stood for 24 years and counting along with being the first American boxer to win Gold in the Inaugural Goodwill Games held in Moscow Russia in 1986. As a professional he co

nquered 3 world titles and throughout his amateur and professional career he earned a grand total of 4 world titles. Arthur prides himself in giving back to his community and beyond. The Arthur Johnson Foundation is committed to rebuilding our inner city communities by inspiring our youth to achieve success in life and by assisting families in crises. Our mission is to give hope, vision and positive direction to our youth through the medium of athletics. Our projects are geared towards helping the youths stay off drugs and in school so that they may perform at their highest academic level possible and to allow them the best opportunity to accomplish lofty goals. The foundation gave away its first scholarship in 2001 and since then has done enormous things throughout the Metro-East and Metropolitan St. "Helping Make The Dreams Of Our Youth A Reality".
