Hidden Gemz

Our first year of Hidden Gemz was so successful. Just thinking about all the babies who earned As n Bs in Math and English this year. They were so serious about getting those grades up. They were super excited to present their grades to me. We're talking about six boys and girls, not just girls. Watching them excel this year has me thinking hard about next year. We presented expectations to them and this year, they met or exceeded all of them. Gotta raise the bar next year. What is Hidden Gemz? It's our tutoring and mentoring program. We tutor jr high n high school children in the subjects of Math and English. We have some of the best tutors in this area. This assignment has been so rewarding. We are determined to position them for college scholarships. I read that ACT tests are returning. So glad that one of our tutors taught ACT prep courses to high school students. Looking forward to the new year.

I love watching the students in Hidden Gemz's tutoring do math. Our tutors teach the classic and common core methods of solving math problems. All I know is....those math grades be on point and I'm loving it! We have a challenge going on with the students. Can hardly wait to see the final grades in May. Thanks to the parents for trusting us with their babies.

Angela Riley and Wanakee Sherrell ...thanks so much for blessing Hidden Gemz. Angela has loaded us up with snacks for our babies. Wanakee sent us a financial blessing to help in any way needed. I love my village!

Thanks to our new math tutor, too; Dylan Fox. Our babies really need help in Math. Watching them work those problems with Dazia Goodwin and Dylan is so rewarding! After they have finished their homework, they get challenging problems. These problems will help them to transition to their next phase in Math.

Thanks to Randy Goodwin who always has a snack on hand for them too. I'm believing God for college scholarships for every child who attends and completes our program.

Finally, thanks to all the parents for trusting your babies with Hidden Gemz.
