As part of our annual commemoration, during the Friday before the holiday, we read to students, engage in thought provoking discussions and provide activity booklets! This year, the school selected by the ESTL School District was Dunbar Elementary ! One of our community partners, House of Miles ESTL, also donated 500 new pairs of socks to the school!

Thank you to the administration, staff and students!

⭐️ Fun fact: This is the 59th year for this committee and observance! This is one of the oldest , if not the oldest , observance in the country, maybe the world! This committee was formed, and the first observance was held well before Dr. King' s birthday was a national holiday! ☮️
