Two days ago, Rhame 4th grade went to Centre Avenue thanks to ER Education Foundation grant written by Centre Avenue teacher Kirsten Miolan to attend a program in Native Americans. The children rotated through workshops where they played games, saw and felt artifacts, drew using Native American symbols and made a clay pendant based on a story they heard. They even ate lunch and had recess there. Thanks to all involved for this amazing day! Ms. Kelly and teachers at Centre Ave gave up their rooms, shared their lunchtimes and rearranged many things to make it happen!

Big thanks to our friends in the East Rockaway Fire Department for standing by today in case someone was hurt! Teamwork in this community makes the Dream work! Appreciate it!

This morning Ambulance 4081 was on location in Hewlett Point Beach Park in support of the East Rockaway Education Foundation Spring 5K Run/Walk. It was great to see the community out supporting a great cause on this beautiful morning.
